Management control

Managing today’s businesses means implementing adequate planning and control tools, especially in the current economic landscape.

The main functions of entrepreneurs and managers (planning, decision-making and subsequent control) require a full-range management accounting system.

The partners of Studio Viviani assist top management in putting effective management accounting systems in place, and in particular in the following activities:

  • Planning and implementing analytical accounting systems
  • Analysis of financial statements through ratios and flows
  • Preparing budget and business plans
  • Defining performance measuring systems

These activities are carried out also in light of Italy’s bankruptcy reform, which has introduced a crisis alert system aimed at early crisis detection with a view toward restructuring companies and maintaining their ability to operate as a going concern. Companies are now required to adopt systems that make it possible to effectively and quickly monitor cash flows and must prepare a budget and a business plan so that any signs of crisis can be detected and new strategies put in place to restore the company’s economic, capital and/or financial balance. We assist companies in planning and maintaining adequate organizational systems that enable early crisis detection so that the necessary corrective measures may be taken.
